Abstract
결론
단국대학교 치과대학 소아치과에 내원한 5세 6개월된 Hypohidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia
환자의 Full Mouth Rehabilitation과정을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 구치부에 casting crown, 유견치에 open-faced SSC수복과 상하악 국소의치 장착을 통
해 저작 효율회복 및 교합고경을 회복하였고 안모의 개선도 도모하였다.
2. 전치부의 비정상적 치관형태로 인한 심미적 문제점을 유중절치의 strip crown과 유견
치의 openfaced SSC로 개선하였다.
3. 이 환자의 치료과정에서 환자 스스로 자신감을 가질 수 있는 계기가 되었고 감추려고
만 하던 보호자의 태도가 적극적으로 변화하는 계기가 되었다.
4. 지속적인 주기적 관찰과 영구치 맹출유도 및 국소의치 재제작을 통해 Ectodermal
Dysplasia환자가 갖는 여러가지 문제점들을 계속적으로 해소해나가야 할 것이다.

Partial anodontia associated with Ectodernal Dysplasia, may be inherited as a
sex-linked recessive characteristic.
The size of the primary teeth that are present may be normal or reduced.
The anterior teeth are often conical, which is one of the characteristic of oligodontia
associated with an Ectodermal Dysplasia.
Children with a large number of missing primary teeth can have partial dentures
constructed at an early age which have been shown to improve their masticatory
function and nutritional states.
A 5½ year-old male with Ectodermal Dysplasia showing oligodontia and a number of
abnormal shaped primary teeth was treated by using anterior strip/open-faced stainless
steel crowns, posterior caste metal and esthetic problems.
